How to limit Number of Posts in Label Pages

1:19 PM | 11comments
In this post I will show you how to limit the number of posts showing in label pages

Step 1. In your Blogger Dashboard

Old Interface: click Design > Edit Html > Tick the Expand Widget Templates box.

New Interface: click Template > Customize > Proceed > Tick the Expand Widget Templates box.

Step 2. Then, find (CTRL+F) below code in the template.
expr:href='data:label.url'

Step 3. You may find more than one instance. Replace them with the following
expr:href='data:label.url + "?max-results=5"'

For Label Cloud users.
To change the number of posts displayed when readers click on an item in your label cloud, find this line in your template:
a.href = lcBlogURL+'/search/label/'+encodeURIComponent(t);

And replace it with this instead:
a.href = lcBlogURL+'/search/label/'+encodeURIComponent(t) +'?max-results=5';

Important: max-results=5 is the miximum number of posts displayed. Replace the number 5 with the number of posts you want displayed.
